Day 1: MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE – MERZOUGA
Meeting with the guide, right after breakfast, in the hotel where you stay. You’ll start your trip in the direction of the High Atlas which takes you through the step of Tizi’n pass (2,260 m.), along a mountain road full of small villages and waterfalls. Tiz’n Tichka, before arriving at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, where we stop for lunch. This village built entirely in pisè, namely straw and mud, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is also very appreciated by Hollywood who chose it as the set for such films as Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, The Legionnaire, The Sheltering Sky and many more. We then proceed to Ouarzazate and through the valley of the roses and the valley of a thousand Kasbah, then up to Dades., before continuing your journey through the desert of Merzouga via Rissani and Erfoud. You arrive in time to leave the car and go by camel to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, to spend the night in a Berber tent in a well-equipped camp where you consume a typical Tuareg dinner, to the rhythm of drums and Berber songs. With a bit of luck, if weather conditions permit you will be able to see the Milky Way in the sky. The following day, the camel will wake you up in time to watch the sunrise from the top of the dunes, near the border with Algeria. Then back to the camps on the camels. You’ll spend the night in our Luxury desert camps.

Day 2: MERZOUGA – EXPERIENCE
After breakfast you will take the 4×4 for a tour to some nearby caves where natural fossils can be found, then you will go to the small and ancient village of Tissrdmin where many movies have been filmed, taking the road which passes along the route of the famous Paris – Dakar rally. You will then pass through the Black Desert with its volcanic stones where we will take tea with a Tuareg family. Then you will arrive at the village of Kamlia, famous for its inhabitants from black Africa and their music. This village is also famous for the festival of music and dance that takes place every year during the first week of August. From here you will go to see the lake Dayet Srji with its pink flamingos. before returning to the luxury camp to relax before taking the camels for a trek into the dunes. After a camel trek of about an half hour you will arrive at the luxury camp where you will spend over night luxury camp .

Day 3: MERZOUGA – FES
Few moments in life compare to waking in the desert, just before the sun lights up the expanse of a desert sky. Coffee and cake will be served on your own private sand dune. Expect goose bumps. Departure to Er Rachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges that provide a rocky passage south through the Tunnel du Légionnaire (built by the French colony in 1928). To the south, the valley widens and feature Esa dance canopy of palms wedged between ancient, striated cliffs, dating back to the Jurassic period. Into Tizin-n- Tichka Talhemt Village. Lunch at Midelt. Continue to Fes via Ifrane (the quaint ‘Swiss/Moroccan Village’ in the mountains) stopping for coffee and delect able pastries. On through the Mid Atlas Mountains to arrive to Fes, and ending your trip.
